Joseph has extensive background and experience working to protect children and working in family law and social services.  After graduating from law school, Joseph joined the Florida Department of Children and Families where he prosecuted juvenile dependency cases.  In these cases, he worked to protect children from abuse and neglect at home.

Joseph then served as an Assistant Regional Counsel with the Florida Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in the 5th. District for over seven years.  Florida created these Regional Offices to better serve indigent clients in state court.  While with the Regional Counsel’s office, Joseph represented clients in Dependency, Juvenile Delinquency, Criminal, Family Law, and Probate cases.  Joseph was also a supervising attorney within the Regional Office for over three years.

Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech in 2009 and his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in 2012.  Joseph is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida and Colorado and in the Ute Indian Trbal Court.

Joseph was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia before relocating to Florida for law school in 2009.  Joseph is now part of the active team serving tribal clients in the Firm’s Colorado Office. 

Joseph resides in Broomfield, Colorado with his two cats, Willow & Sammy. Joseph is an avid hockey fan and enjoys all sports, cooking, traveling, and reading.
