Patterson Earnhart Real Bird & Wilson LLP is pleased to announce the addition of a new partner to the firm, Barry Bartel, who joined Native Law Group on October 10th.

Barry’s experience includes over 15 years in royalty, ownership, and natural resource issues. He has handled complex class action litigation involving natural gas royalties, fraudulent misrepresentation, commercial contracts, and jurisdictional issues.
Barry also has executive leadership experience working with a rural development project in Haiti and promoting small businesses and sustainable agriculture in Bolivia and South American indigenous communities. His expertise extends to helping for-profit and non-profit organizations develop effective and clear governance structures. Barry currently serves on the Mennonite Education Agency Investment Committee, managing endowment funds for educational institutions.
Barry earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, in 1991 with a certificate in Dispute Resolution. He lives in the Denver area with his wife, Brenda. They enjoy traveling to see their son and daughter and their families during their free time.
