Shane has extensive public service experience, beginning his legal career as an attorney for the Small Business Administration, working on COVID pandemic-related loan teams, where he ensured that small business owners could receive loans from the federal government to keep their businesses afloat during the height of the pandemic. He then joined the District Attorney’s Office of Weld County, Colorado, where he prosecuted misdemeanor cases involving DUIs, assault and battery, and bias-motivated crimes. He then went into private practice working in Estate Planning law at Meuli Law Office in Windsor, Colorado. He looks forward to bringing his well-rounded and multi-faceted law practice to Patterson Real Bird and Rasmussen LLP. 

Shane received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Boston College in 2015 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2021. He also received a certificate from the Unversity of Oklahoma College of Law’s Center for the Study of American Indian Law & Policy in Peacemaking. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado and the District of Columbia.

Shane was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts before moving to Oklahoma for law school in 2018. Shane is excited to serve tribal clients in the Firm’s Colorado office.

Shane lives in Windsor, Colorado with his three dogs, Piper, Winter, and Echo. He is an avid hiker and skier and can be found exploring the Colorado outdoors during his free time.
