Patterson Real Bird & Rasmussen LLP is pleased to have Camila Peralta at the firm as a Summer Law Clerk in the Louisville, Colorado office.
Camila is a rising third-year law student at the University of Colorado Law School. Originally from South Florida, they earned their undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where they studied Anthropology and Political Science.
At Colorado Law, Camila is actively involved with the American Indian Law Clinic and the Colorado Law Review. During the past academic year, they had the opportunity to attend the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues alongside the American Indian Law Clinic, an experience that further strengthened their interest in Federal Indian Law and Indigenous issues.
As a Summer Law Clerk, Camila will support the firm’s attorneys across a variety of matters while gaining practical experience serving Tribal Nations, tribal organizations, and Native communities. Their academic achievements, commitment to Indigenous advocacy, and enthusiasm for learning make them a valuable addition to the Native Law Group team.
Outside of law school, Camila enjoys bouldering, watching movies as a self-proclaimed film buff, discovering new music, reading, and spending time outdoors.
