Patterson Earnhart Real Bird & Wilson LLP announced today that its attorneys are recipients of three distinguished awards for 2021. The first is a national award, while the other two focus on the state of Colorado and the Denver metro area.

First, U.S. News & World Report publication Best Lawyers selected Patterson Earnhart Real Bird & Wilson LLP attorneys Jeremy J. Patterson, Thomasina Real Bird (pictured here), and Jeffrey Rasmussen for inclusion in its “Best Lawyers in America” for 2021. All three were recognized in the practice area of Native American Law.

The attorneys are featured in the 27th edition of Best Lawyers’ “Best Lawyers in America.” Patterson received this distinction in 2018, 2019, and 2020; Real Bird received this distinction in 2019 and 2020; and Rasmussen in 2019.

“My colleagues and I are honored to be included in this year’s ‘Best Lawyers in America’ — and for our firm to be recognized for its expertise and experience in Native American Law,” Real Bird said. “We share this recognition with the high-quality clients we have the privilege to represent, as well as with our colleagues here at Native Law Group.”

“Best Lawyers in America” highlights the top 6 percent of private practicing attorneys in the United States. They are chosen through a comprehensive peer-review evaluation in which nearly 94,000 attorneys are eligible to vote.

Next, Colorado Super Lawyers selected attorney Thomasina Real Bird for inclusion in its 2021 Super Lawyers list. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. The top 5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected to the Super Lawyers list.

Finally, 5280 Magazine’s Denver’s Top Lawyers 2021 directory highlights attorneys Thomasina Real Bird, Alvina Earnhart, and Jeremy J. Patterson. The attorneys were recognized in the practice area of Native American Law, based on peer surveys and weeks of interviews and reporting.
