Native Law Group Participates in Cheyenne River Youth Project Christmas Toy Drive

Jan 26, 2024 | News

Attorneys and staff at Native Law Group were honored to be able to participate in the Cheyenne River Youth Project (CRYP) Wo Otúh’an Wi Toy Drive.  CRYP has been bringing holiday joy to over 1,000 youth on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation with their Wo Otúh’an Wi Toy Drive for nearly 35 years.  The youth send “Dear Santa” letters with their wish lists including necessities such as bedding and clothing.  These letters are then distributed to the many supporters that CRYP has gained throughout the years.

Native Law Group continued its tradition of donating toys and necessities, and for the second year in a row, has had the additional honor of delivering a truckload of toys and necessities from its office in Colorado to the Reservation in South Dakota.  Once the truck arrived, and along with thousands of other packages, teams of volunteers wrap and label the gifts, so that each child has their own individualized and personal gifts delivered by Santa and waiting for them on Christmas.
