Patterson Real Bird & Rasmussen is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Attorney Tiana Wilson-Blindman to the firm’s Louisville, Colorado office.

Tiana joins the firm as a Litigation Associate, where she will focus on litigation matters affecting Tribal Nations, tribal entities, and Native communities. Her practice experience includes commercial litigation, civil rights matters, government investigations, federal enforcement response, environmental and natural resource permitting and disputes, tribal gaming, and climate-related legal issues.
Prior to joining Patterson Real Bird & Rasmussen, Tiana practiced at WilmerHale, where her work included tribal gaming matters, environmental litigation, government enforcement and investigations, and regulatory compliance. Before beginning her legal career, she worked with environmental nonprofits, policy organizations, and corporate sustainability teams on issues involving environmental assessments, natural resource governance, and tribal sovereignty. Her experience includes work related to tribal co-management of resources, equity-centered governance initiatives, and environmental justice.
Tiana earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she served as Environmental Justice Editor of Ecology Law Quarterly and was a Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment Fellow. She also holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Energy Systems, Climate, and Environmental Justice. While at Yale, she served as a Teaching Fellow for Federal Indian Law at Yale Law School.
Originally from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, Tiana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Tiana’s background in tribal, environmental, and energy law brings valuable perspective to the firm’s litigation practice and strengthens the firm’s ongoing commitment to serving Tribal Nations and tribal organizations across the country.
“We are excited to welcome Tiana to Patterson Real Bird & Rasmussen,” said Jeremy Patterson. “Her experience across litigation, environmental law, tribal sovereignty, and regulatory matters will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our team.”
