On August 18, 2022, Patterson Earnhart Real Bird & Wilson LLP announced U.S. News & World Report publication Best Lawyers will include seven Patterson Earnhart Real Bird & Wilson LLP attorneys in its 2023 edition of “Best Lawyers in America” and “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.” Six are recognized in the practice area of Native American Law, and one is recognized for insurance law. All seven are based at Native Law Group’s Colorado office in Louisville.

Frances Bassett, Alvina Earnhart, and Linda Cooper join partners Thomasina Real Bird, Jeremy J. Patterson, and Jeffrey S. Rasmussen in the 29th edition of “Best Lawyers in America” and Mitch Holditch for his second appearance in “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.”

Patterson reached a significant milestone with the 2023 edition, earning this recognition six times. He first appeared in the publication in 2018. It’s Real Bird’s fifth recognition, earning the distinction in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Rasmussen is earning his third consecutive recognition from Best Lawyers.

“My colleagues and I are honored to be included in the 2023 editions of ‘Best Lawyers in America’ and ‘Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch,’” Real Bird said. “We share this honor with the high-quality clients we have the privilege to represent and with all of our colleagues here at Native Law Group.”

“Best Lawyers in America” highlights the top six percent of attorneys in the United States who have been in private practice for ten or more years. They are chosen through a comprehensive peer-review evaluation in which nearly 94,000 attorneys are eligible to vote.

Using the same peer-review methodology as “Best Lawyers in America,” “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” recognizes associates and other attorneys who are earlier in their careers for their outstanding professional excellence in private practice.
