Native Law Group proudly announces JR Loera’s promotion to Senior Associate, and Logan Big Eagle joins the firm as an Associate Attorney. Both attorneys bring unique experiences and perspectives to the firm to further support tribal governments and entities.

JR Loera is an enrolled member of the Chickasaw Nation with an extensive background in all areas of law pertaining to tribal governments. He is adept at handling matters related to tribal employment, including developing and enforcing personnel policies. JR also understands finance and how to work with national investment and banking institutions to further tribal economic development projects.
Logan Big Eagle is an enrolled member of the Osage Nation, focusing on Federal Indian law, International Indigenous human rights law, and environmental law. He was a fellow at First Peoples Worldwide, where he collaborated with stakeholders worldwide on projects designed to affect positive change for Indigenous communities. Logan brings insight into how best to understand and represent tribes in legal proceedings domestically and abroad.
